L assembly

I am having an absolute nightmare trying to get the L assembly put together. Top and bottom rails done ofcourse, just the compound cuts on LA and LB are really causing me headaches. Can anyone tell me a good way of making these cuts? I am trying to use a standard chopsaw with angle set and then manually proping the bar up in the jaws to try and get the right angle. Not pretty!

I found the following paper templates that will give the correct angles. Should make cutting much easier!
