i have a whole box load of stanard 4mm x 8mm aluminium blind rivets and am wondering these are ok to do my panelling and possibly the floor? i know alot of people use sealed rivets but is the size of the ones i have ok?

I will be using 4mm x 8mm sealed (to stop water getting into the chassis rails) all round on my car. I will also be rivetting 1 every 1" to really stiffen the chassis up (Matt @ Procomp recommendation!)
