Can anybody (that has actually raced at snett) tell me how realistic Toca3 is on the PS2.  I got a ps2 for my birthday and toca3 to try and learn some of the tracks.  I have been trying to familiarise myself using the ps2 and the simulation seems great.  I watched the vids from last seasons locost race and can see all the distance markers and some of the marshalls posts in the vids.  Now can anybody tell me how realistic is the game?  Can you learn the track using markers from the game as braking points, such as marshalls posts, curbs, and distance markers  Grin?  or are the game ones in the wrong locations regarding turning points?

I admire your bravery sir.

I have a friend  Wink who has just got hold of toca3 on ps2 and my friend Wink reckons that the reference points are no good, however the profile of the corners seem relatively accurate but my friend Wink reckons you shouldn't be so tight and book a track day.

Anyway the only two corners (exit speed is the biggie) that matter at snetterton are russells and the second (sears i think)

Cheers
Rich (and friend Wink)

The ps2 will help with layout and a general understanding of what happens next, but not alot else.

The problem with Snet is the amount of "technical" , but quick corners you need to get right. The huge
tow that the two straights give usually drags everyone along, masking how much speed could be made up
everywhere else.

I believe, if the weathers right, the lap record may be moved to a low 1.27 this year, so find a ps2 car that
laps around that mark.
