Hi we will have in the new year the new dampers that we have had made.
These have damping ratios and valving specifically for the locost race
cars. And are to suit 2 1/4 race springs.

As a special offer to locost championship registered drivers we are selling them for £325 for a set of 4.
Springs and delivery are extra.

Anyone interested can contact us on  0121-350-3258.

Cheers Matt

Hi the open and closed lenght are what you require for you application. Ie you tell me what you want.

These are being made by protech for us. And are built with valving to our own specification Ie the fronts have valving to suit and the rears are valved to suite the live axle application. Not the same as what is in other dampers as std. They come fully dynod and balanced as pairs. again unlike any other where you have to run different number of click across the car to gain equal poundage on the dampers in bump and rebound.

I see.

Could you therefore re-valve my existing Gaz dampers that are the correct lengths? I don't think they have valved them with the reduced weight of the racing car vs. the road car in mind as they are pretty insensitive to adjustment over the whole range from what I can determine in car and putting them on the damper rig.

Cheers.

Hi it would be best to send them back to GAZ for re valving. All the dampers from gaz avo ect have 20-30 clicks but only 3-5 of those clicks are actually working in a range that works. The trouble is on any two dampers finding the range. Ie your left front could have a range of 3-7 clicks but the right front may have a range of 11-15 clicks. This is why they need balancing in to pairs to gain better results from them. Assuming they have a valving ratio that's right in the first place.

Hi just to let you know that they are now available now the valving is sorted. The order for the first 10 sets that have been pre ordered by drivers are now being done.

Cheers Matt
