Hi

I'm really interested in joining the locosts in 2008 if money lets me but i was wondering if anyone does a car hire deal? as i'm looking to maybe get into a race before the seasons out Looked around on the internet and people seem to think it can be done in a number of the 750 championships. Any info will help as i'm trying to get my head round the various series that i can do.

Thanks a lot
Ali

Although I am not 100% sure I believe "arrive and drive" may actually be against the Locost regulations. I am sure someone else will be along to confirm shortly though.

It is in the regulations that proffesional support is not allowed. Although i'm sure for one race, if there was a car available you might get away with it.

There are several cars on the www.750mc.co.uk classified page, there was also one i remember on ebay a couple of days ago. So that may be worth checking.

Nothing has changed in the last couple of years in the regs for the championship except belts and exstinguisher.

Hope we see you soon.

The timing is right to buy a car now. At least three absolute (no excuses) cars are available now. Potentially another
2 front running cars could be up for sale within the month.

Forget the cars that finished 19th last time out, buy a race winning car. The premium is tiny compared to the cost
of developing a race winning package (I know).

Hi

As has already been stated there are a few cars for sale, as mine is but I am also open to hiring the car out, There is nothing in the regs to prevent this and it ahs been discussed with Robin Knight. It is a front running, race winning car (and trailer and van if required) and is currently second in the championship.

email me for more details or to discuss hire options
