The 2008 regs (provisional) are up on the 750mc site.

No surprises - Rain Lights (bad move) & Gearboxes (good move).

Unless I've missed anything

Any other thoughts?

There's a bit more if you read all the highlighted changes.

Stop go, grid slot penalties, 11 mm discs (not 8.40) Bio ethanol class.

Cheers

Stop Go Penalties, Grid slot penalties. Penalties are for gettin things wrong. Can't worry about that.
Making up time on Green Flag Lap (if we get one). Not sure about that one - Trying to drive through 30 keyed up locosters in a lap of mallory, hmm. as if I'd be starting 30 from the back (it could happen!!)

11mm disks (I'll have to go check but I have some new ones in the wings) were talking fractions here.

Bio Ethanol. Excellent idea. Potential for advancement of the sports image - but why use it on a 40 year old engine. Run a championship of Bio powered Astras & lets get people switching to eco friendly cars on the road.

Before I get accused of being a tree hugger, I have a carbon footprint the size of Yorkshire but would like to see everyone else save the planet for me. And will gladly discuss ecological issues over a beer, a squirrel sandwich in front of a roaring coal fire Wink Tongue.
