I am looking to buy a Locost for next year. Can anyone list the current cars they know are for sale and relevant details.

Cheers all.

There is at least one on Pistonheads....

I am not sure if any of the front running cars are for sale.

Maybe worth talking to Procomp, Luego or Ace.

Saw the one on pistonheads already but had no reply to 2 email enquiries. Will keep looking and check with the companies you mention.

Cheers

Locost Race  kit from Luego: Chassis, Fully Bracketed & Welded Floor, Wishbone Set, Trailing Arms, Panard Rod, Polly Bush Set, 6 Piece Race GRP. £1495

Roll cage from Caged (Brian Mitcham), Engine from Randall, Gt box, 4.1 diff, a few bids on ebay and your racing.

Plus a little help from your friends.

Thats what I did.

Like your Gallery of build photos, kind of inspires me to do the same! How long did your build take and did Luego help with the initial build of your kit?

Once I got my arse in gear, 6 weeks. The car was finished the night before the first round.

Dec and I put the suspension and running gear onto the chassis in Luego's workshop. Other than fitting the roll cage and the sourcing of a few bits, they had little input.

Depending on how gifted an enginner you are, I have a list of names and numbers who can help out.

If you start now, you will be ready.
